The Trade centre, which will display and trade building materials and interior designs, consists of a main building and three sub-buildings with a total floorspace of nearly 67,000 sqm; an apartment and office building for lease with total floorspace of nearly 15,000 sqm; a restaurant of 1,000 sqm and 30,000 sqm of warehousing space.

At Melinh PLAZA, a wide range of additional services will be provided such as banking, delivery, and even a business centre with a 200-seat conference room. Melinh PLAZA is well equipped with modern machinery and equipment such as TRANE air conditioning system (USA), KONE lifts (Finland), Schindler escalators (Switzerland), camera systems, communication systems, fire alarm system.

Founded in 1994, T&M Trans Group has representative offices in Germany, Russia, China and a number of other countries around the world. In Vietnam, in addition to the Melinh PLAZA project, the Group has also invested in Eurowindow, a company specializing in the manufacture of uPVC windows, doors, and partitions. Eurowindow has two factories in Vinh Phuc and Binh Duong provinces. Furthermore, a number of resorts and apartment complexes have been financed

    Construction is gathering pace and should be completed on time. The three main contractors are Ho Chi Minh Museum Construction Company (Hanoi Construction Corporation), Phuc Hung Constrexim Company (Constrexim Holdings) and Xuan Mai Concrete JSC (Vinaconex Corporation). The Construction Management Consultant DELTA is responsible for supervising the quality of the construction. They are ensuring that the construction phase is making timely progress, and that the construction quality is to the highest standards. To date, more than 90% of the building has been completed. It is planned that the interior finishing of the main building will be entered into at the end of November 2005.

    Following the successful construction, Melinh PLAZA will have its soft opening in May 2006, with its official opening ceremony taking place in September 2006.
