The event is also an opportunity for local and foreign enterprises to polish their brands, introduce their products, widen their market shares and promote investment activities.
Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Building Materials, Tran Van Huynh, said commercial transactions played an important role in the exhibition. Previously, Vietnam’s building materials sector’s target was the local market.
However, the situation has changed – in 2005, export revenue from shipments to 100 countries reached US$113 million. According to the Ministry of Construction, Vietnam’s building material manufacturing currently witnesses an annual growth of 17 per cent.
This event will be part of an annual nationwide program for commercial promotion to boost Vietnam’s building materials and interior design market.
Inter-Deco Vietnam 2006 is organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Trade Fair and Advertising Company, T&M Investment (Vietnam) Co.Ltd, Construction Information Technology Center and Vietnam Association of Building Materials.
