During the reception, the representative of the investor, Mr Hannes Romauch, Vice General Director of the T&M investment Vietnam Co. Ltd. made a presentation about the construction materials and furniture Melinh Plaza Trade Complex to the ASEAN Contractors Federation members and entrepneneurs active at the Melinh Plaza.

After visiting booths here, most of the Asian contractors federation delegates comment that the Melinh Plaza was well invested, well organized, professional and parallel with other big trade centres in the world.

Also during this visit, they had a meeting with construction materials enterprises who are currently doing business at the Melinh Plaza. This is a good opportunity for investment, business co-operation between the two sides.

Speaking on the importance of this visit, Mr. Andrew Khng, Vice Chairman of Tiong Seng Contractors Pte expressed his impression for the scale and modernity of the Melinh Plaza. Visiting the Melinh Plaza, Mr Andrew Khng not only has chance to see an advanced model of the Melinh Plaza but also many opportunities for business co-operation with Vietnamese enterprises currently active at the Melinh Plaza.

For the enterprises active at the Melinh Plaza, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Managing Director of Hoang Thanh Co. Ltd., manufacturer of Karador said that the meeting with the Asian contractors federation members is a very good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their products to external markets. The Asian contractors highly appreciated the acoustic and heat insulation products of Everich Truong Phu, which are used for tall buildings, a trend for the city development. The Asian contractors particularly cared for plastic doors, windows, partitions made of u-PVC of Eurowindow. Several contractors proposed a co-operation with Eurowindow to export its products to Malaysia and Singapore.

It can be said that the visit of the Asian contractors to the Melinh Plaza Trade Complex has opened business opportunity for the enterprises active at the Melinh Plaza. Since the start of its operation, the Melinh Plaza regularly receives construction materials associations from overseas and acts as a bridge between Vietnamese and foreign enterprises.
